EMDR Therapy Basic Training, Part 1 and 2 – Fri/Sat/Sun – (Virtual and On-Site) ~ May 16-18 or May 30-June 1/July 18-20, 2025

This training is presented by a senior EMDR Institute trainer selected and trained by EMDR originator Dr. Francine Shapiro who is approved to use the EMDR Institute Training Manual and provide other EMDR Institute resources.

Registration recommendations and deadline: Early registration is encouraged. Registration is accepted until training is full or five days before the training begins. Affiliates of the Cape Cod Institute can indicate this on the registration details page.

Registrants have two dates on which you can take Part 1 of this training. 

• • You can attend our May 16-18 Part 1 training either on-site on beautiful Cape Cod (Cape Cod Community College, 2240 Iyannough Rd, West Barnstable, MA 02668)  or as a virtual live interactive webinar.  
  • Or you can attend the May 30-June 1 at Westfield State University in Westfield MA (in-person only) [NOTE change in date].  
  • Each option provides the same training content and the same faculty teaching and support.  You will be asked to make your choice on the registration form below.
  • Further information related to training locations will be provided after registration.

All participants will complete Part 2 of the training via virtual live webinar virtually on July 18-20. 

Part 2 (July 18-20) will be offered via live webinar only

Live interactive webinar participants will engage via the  Zoom meeting platform. During the morning didactive component of the training, interactive webinar participants will receive a livestream telecast from the on-site training over the Zoom meeting platform. Participants will see all the content presented to participants at the training location and will be able to ask questions or share comments by speaking directly with the presenter via zoom or via the chat function. In the afternoon practicum sessions, participants will be in small group Zoom meetings. Via Zoom meeting formats, they will see and be able to interact with their afternoon training facilitators and other participants.
